Index To Our Small Gardens Pictures With Pictures Of Garden Ideas For 2009

More than a picture of a garden, these small gardens pictures and pictures of garden ideas are a different kind of “my garden journal”

For years now, we've been advocating the advantages of keeping a garden history journal. A backyard journal can assist a gardener in so many ways with their garden, gardening projects, efforts, seed and plant orders, avoiding mistakes, take advantage of what works and what doesn't, etc., etc., etc. But how many of us actually keep a journal, or even rough notes for that matter? Here at jerrysplantsonline.com, we've put our 'keyboard where our mouth is”, so to speak and posted my garden journal right out there for everyone to see. This our actual small gardens pictures journal - good, bad and sometimes ugly. Not some "window-dressed" version of pictures of a vegetable garden. We wanted all of our visitors to see that no matter how long you've been gardening, not everything goes right all of the time and once in a while, things go better than planned. In our backyard journal we wanted everyone to see that keeping a garden history journal is not some elaborate undertaking and there is no right or wrong way to do one. But every gardener should have one.

But hey, let's be honest here, sometimes just plain writing things down is - well - BORING. Ok - who said that my garden journal had to be just words? Why can't it be primarily small gardens pictures, pictures of garden ideas and pictures of a vegetable garden with just enough words to explain them. As with any picture, and a picture of a garden as well, they say that one picture is worth a thousand words, don't they? Well, here is another form of garden history journal for you to consider. Just don't be to critical of the small gardens pictures and pictures of garden ideas. I'm a "hillbilly gardener", who's good at that. I never said I was a photographer! Maybe someone out there would be willing to offer some advice on taking pictures of a vegetable garden.

Whether a single picture of a garden, many small gardens pictures, pictures of garden ideas or many pictures of a vegetable garden you enjoyed, pictures for sure should be included in your backyard journal. Pictures add visual interest and clarity to my garden journal that I can't find in any word journal. Take time to browse this pictorial version of my garden journal and feel free to comment by dropping us a line. We would love to hear from you.
